May 06, Title 9
9. Compare and contrast knowing a friend to knowing how to swim, to knowing a scientific theory, to knowing an historical period. What conclusion about the nature of knowledge can you reach?
This essay received a B. Quite frankly, I was astonished. I thought it deserved a C, but then why should I complain? This is, to be honest, a hopelessly boring title that is very hard to be interesting in, but easy to think up of arguments, thus my reason for choosing it.
