I know it has nothing to do with IB but after the earthquake in Peru an ex-student from my school made a search webpage with google named www.aidgle.com. It is the same google search but with a different homepage. For every search made money is donated to rebuild schools and houses destroyed by the earthquake. Use it instead of google and help.

Hi! I just got wait-listed for my local IB high school after sitting for the entrance exam and completing a personal portfolio. Hello all, I need help choosing my HL subjects for next year. Right now, I have chosen HL English, Biology, and Chemistry. My SLs are Math, French, and Business Management. However, I am considering changing to SL Chem, and HL business management in order to lighten the work load since many people are telling me how difficult two HL sciences are. Will it lighten the work load for me? I'm not sure because each of the higher level sciences require 10 hours for the ia, whereas hl business requires 30 hours (according to ib). Hello, I am grade 8 and I am preparing for the IB program. I want to go to Colonel By High School. I want to know if there are any tips for preparing this exam. I asked my teacher in my school, but she just said you can't prepare for it. However, I can't fail this test, and I am having trouble with English. Are there any good ways to help me improve my writing on an IB entrance exam? Does TOEFL help? Also, how hard is the test? Is the math hard, or do I need to study it? I heard that it was easy. Lastly, is it okay if I got a G in my progress report? Or does that count as a huge disadvantage during the entrance?

Hi! II am from Calderstone in grade 8. I am trying to get into IB in Turner Fenton SS. How were your grades in grade 7 and grade 8. For those who have gotten in, was there something that you think made you gain an advantage? Also how can I prepare for the essay? For my grade 7 report card, my average was 88% and all E's. IB is a joke. It isn't the refreshing diploma you'd want to take; it is just hard just to be hard. It doesn't really teach you what they claim to, it is just annoying hard and stupid work. It doesn't give you time for anything else than IB itself. Why don't they let you start a project in which you could continue on once you graduate? No. Because that you would mean it will be enjoyable for you. Hi Everyone! First off I would like to apologize for the rant that I am about to embark on. So yesterday I decided to log in and check my ****ing IB score just to see that I was not awarded the diploma. That in itself is depressing but what's worse is that I was one point off from that **** diploma that I busted my ass off for. What's more sad is that I was one point off from upper boundary for three ****ing subjects. I was thinking about appealing the grades but that ****s like $200. Here in New Zealand the ministry of education openly supports students doing past papers to prepare for their NCEA(the NZ secondary curriculum) external exams, but the IBO seems to be vehemently against IB students doing the same thing. However, there also seems to be a wealth of past papers available on the internet that people are using. Do IB students actually do past papers to prepare for their exams or is it useless? Will students get in trouble if they are caught grinding past papers?
