2015SofiaA
Hi everyone, I know this might sound a little vague but I'm needing help to work on my extended essay... It's not that I don't know what to do, I'm just lacking the motivation and energy to do it... It's already half way through and I have all the research done, but school starts in less than two weeks from now and I'm really freaking out, and I still have a lot left to do and I can't manage to continue - I feel permanently blocked... ...And help? Thank you Reply

IctEcon
get an outline down, and your work will basically be over. What I did, was set a goal for every day, like writing at least 500 words and so on. Set small goals and that will really help you to get all the written stuff out of your way. 1 Reply
Blackcurrant
Talk about your subject with some friends or relatives. Just explaining your research is a great way to generate a second wind (to re- kick-start) your motivation. 1 Reply
2015SofiaA
The subject I'm doing is Visual Arts and my research question is "to what extent do the symbols appearing in DalÃ's paintings reflect his life experiences and beliefs?". I have an outline, but I've just started making an outline for each section and it's quite helpful, thank you and I have tried talking about my research to relatives and friends, but I mumble and stutter quite a lot, so what I speak doesn't sound quite good enough to write down.
