Is there a limit to this, and can you see what you got de-repped for? I checked my profile recently and saw -1 rep, but couldn't recall what I said or posted wrong, and I wasn't sure how to check which post I got de-repped for.

ALTERNATIVELY it may be because your rep is the sum of all your post ratings. For example I just thumbed down your post to -1, so your profile now says -2.

Grumps: He's asking if he can see who de-repped him, not how it's shown or why.
DP: You asked a question which you expect to be answered by an admin, there is no need to start an argument.
Daedalus: Thank you.
Now, DP:
I will be looking over your posts to see if they're being de-repped for invalid reasons like what just happened here. Having said this, you just have to try and make positive posts, making sure you don't say anything bad to any member, not that you are now, but I am just saying. Like I said, I will be looking at your posts to make sure the repping system is not abused.

it's usually obvious from the post you make. If you can't understand what it was in the post that caused your rep misfortune, contact a moderating staff member and they'll investigate
like Maha said, it won't be the end of the world, we can remove it if it's invalid

Also "rep wars" where dislike for other members resulting in negging their posts may be another reason too, especially recently, in which case a mod can help, as she already volunteered.
