Just wonder, what is the difference between the two as i've apparently got 94 active posts, but only 72 posts?

73 posts now. that means you have 93 total posts including posts in Chat and IB Chat that don't count towards your post count. This is so people don't meaninglessly spam the chat and IB chat forums to raise their post count dramatically. otherwise i would have something around 2500 posts by now :P
