I would like to share a framework for students that are writing labs.

Find it useful or not, does not matter. I know for a fact that many struggle with these lab reports and this will help them.

hey thanks for the format. Do you guys have to finish your lab report on the same day itself or do you go home and bring it the next day. I'm asking because I have to give the lab report on the same day I finish my experiment...

It varies from different teachers, my biology teacher is fairly nice when it comes to this. He gives us two weeks to finish the lab and deliver it to him or else he wont give suggestions for improvement but on the other hand my chemistry teacher wants the lab the day after.
