Have you put any numbers in the title? Try taking out things which aren't text.

Often the purpose of not allowing users to use quotation marks or other punctuation marks is as a "fix" for security vulnerabilities which can be exploited by malicious users. Think using the punctuation to enter code into the text box in order to change how the text behaves. Of course, limiting what the user can enter into the text box, especially in this case is the wrong way to go about fixing this. I even wrote a short article on this topic a couple of years ago, for some further reading on this subject: http://fwebde.com/programming/hack-your-own-site/

Or it could possibly be something else, like maybe they want to sort the titles in alphabetical order, and having to deal with all the punctuation can mess up their ordering system and the programmers are too lazy to fix it.

It's due on March 15th. So mine says the same thing but taking out the quotation marks does not make any difference... any suggestions??
