So with exams over my best friend and I are planning to take a 3-4 week Interrail trip throughout Europe. Planning to hit Berlin, Amsterdam and Barcelona, and whatever we find in between.

Does anyone have any experiences/tips to share? Specifically accomodation, is it best to reserve rooms at hostels in advance or is it easy to find rooms with short notice? How much would we be looking to spend excluding tickets?

We're planning to just sorta wing it a bit and get off randomly at places that look interesting. Hoping it will be awesome.
