I'm starting IB in September and I'd really like to see the daily routines / workflow of the other veterans of IB. I'll share mine as well when I get into September as well.

Varies from subject to subject and then your ability in said subject. Whats your collection of HLs and SLs for IB?
I would generally spend 15-30 minutes reading for English every two days, 15 minutes a day over Maths, 45-60 minutes everyday (including weekends) for History, 15-30 minutes everyday for French, 10 minutes on Environment, 10 minutes (probably less) a day for Economics. As the months progressed and we had IAs and EEs and WLs and Oral Presentations and Commentaries come into the picture, I would periodically spend a little more time per project. So when we had our WL1s due, I spent an hour on it, everyday, for two weeks until it was done to my satisfaction, I spent an hour every day for five days every time we had one of our Economics commentaries due, I think I sacrificed 4 weekends in a row (and I am talking 7-8 hours on Saturday and Sunday each) writing my History IA.
So really it depends on what you're studying and what your ability is with each individual subject.

At the beginning of IB1 when I got home from school I ate something then I began all my work. But then as the year progressed I began to procrastinate more and began waiting until 8 or 9pm to start my work.
In April and May when I had to study for my SL Math exam (since art had no exam
) I had about 2 hours of math homework a night to practice. It was worth it in the end, but at the time I hated it. At the end of IB1 when we had our finals and World Lit papers I started to be a bit more productive, but as soon as I finished my final draft of WL2 I resigned myself to do nothing.
I expect IB2 to follow the same way.

im one of those people that cannot break up projects and do a little bit at a time.
i work best with working for 15 mins then break. or like do a paragraph break.
like i wont start my tok essay till world lit is done
however i can break up do plan of WL and then plan TOK... breaking it up like that
i usually sleep at like 11
only work wen i have to, dont try unless it counts === key to success

Mhm.
I procastinate a lot, but a lot less than a month ago.
I usually do my HW after i return from school (4PM), and then i start browsing on the Internet or chat with friends. Up to 11PM to 1AM.
A month ago i used to go to bed at 2-3AM. WOW.
I wake up 5.15-6.45, it depends on my mood!

When you went to bed at 2-3AM, would you wake up at 5:15-6:45? If so.. how?

i use to go sleep at 3-4 and wake up at 7. But I took a 2 hour nap when i got home

"God" I attempted that before.. But when I get home and take a nap, I get too lazy/unmotivated to begin doing any work. This, in turn .. results in nothing being accomplished and further demotivates me!
I usually work from 4:30-11:30 (ECs/breaks in between) and wake up at 7:30. 8 hours of sleep, which is exactly when I'm the most productive. Sleeping late and waking up early and then attempting to do hmwrk/ECs during the day=fail
I'll only sleep late if I have a free block first period the following morning, and I'd just sleep during my free, which usually balances out my normal sleeping hours.

Well i actually slept 2-4 hours... Not recommended.
I can take a nap when i come back from school, but it's risky.
Sometimes i've slept from 5PM to 6AM the next day... Wow.

I go running every other morning so my routine is a bit like this:
5:30 Get up to run
6:30 Return home, take shower, have breakfast
7:30 Leave for school
8:15~15:20 School
16:00 Arrive home, take shower
16:30~20:00 Work (usually I do homework/IAs first and then move onto general studying)
20:00~20:30 Dinner
Afterwards it's either work or procrastination. And then I go to bed at around 23:00~0:00 regardless of workload. On days that I don't go running, I get up at 6:30. Oh, and I drink coffee everyday (trying to curb the habit though).
And about naps: even if I'm tired, I try to avoid naps and have caffeine instead because I tend to oversleep. Sometimes I nap and then end up waking up at 6am the next morning!! It's dangerous!! Besides, if you have a regular sleeping pattern, napping can really distort it.

Well this is how my IB life used to go:
6:45 Wake up
7:30 Get on Bus
8:20-16:30 School
16:30-18:00 Wait around at school, chat to people (too tired/demotivated to work...)
18:00 Go to another school, have Chinese lessons
20:00 Get home, eat dinner
21:00-22:30 Quietly consolidate brain death in front of TV
22:30-23:30 Go for a run
00:00 Go to sleep, annihilated
I did no homework during the week and just did it at the weekends, but it was fine because I hate doing things in little bits anyway. Never got behind or anything, as you can easily replace 30 mins a day or whatever with just working hard all at once at the weekend or whatever. However, I felt sleep deprived and fed up most of the time, ahah. A lot of lessons I found it extremely hard to stay awake in. I would not recommend my daily routine/doing the IB to other people because basically you have to do nothing but school every day. Trying to do extra activities/stay physically healthy is kinda what killed me!
Everything I used to do before or after school - Drama, Music, Sports etc. - I had to cut down to just Chinese lessons, thanks to the IB. Within the school day I'd typically have about an hour free out of the whole day as we used to have lessons instead of lunchbreaks and lessons run over our breaktimes to try and fit all the subjects in, so by the time I was free directly after school I was already ready to go to sleep by about 5pm. Stupid, really! Also highly unconducive to having a decent social life outside of your school friends and lessons.

My IB1 schedule
6:45 wake up
7:20 leave home
8:10 - 2:25 school
2:50 get home from school, eat, watch TV
3:30 - 4:00 start HW
6:00 break (procrastinate)
6:30 start again
7:30 dinner
8:00 continue HW (procrastination usually happens here too)
9:00 procrastinate on Internet/FB or practice piano
10:00 - 10:30 shower
11:00 sleep
I try to avoid napping too because it seriously messes up my sleep schedule and then I'm always tired in class. Only if I'm seriously exhausted when I get home! I keep my extracurriculars to the weekends except for piano which I did once a week on Tuesdays and that takes about two hours. I haven't cut after-school activities yet because of IB but then again I haven't been through IB2 yet

My IB schedule
6:15am - wake up
7:15am - drive to school
7:35am - get to school, do some homework, chat to friends, etc
8:30-2:00pm - school
2:00pm-3:00pm - depends on what day it is. Some days I tutor people in French for CAS, some day I get tutored myself, other days I just go home, or chill at school doing nothing >_>
4:00pm - home. Procrastinate. Eat dinner. The usual.
6:00pm - Facebook
7:00pm - Facebook
8:00pm - Realise that it's already 8pm and I have done no study nor homework
9:00pm - homework. Get yelled at by mother to go to sleep :|
10:00pm - Homework
10:30pm - Sleep, finally. Depending on what piece of homework I've finished or not.
I'm REALLY bad with homework. I usually have to skip one or two classes a week or stay up late to finish it. Which isn't too bad now since we've finished all our syllabi and are simply revising content. It's worse than IB1 though. In IB1, I went to bed on time and did all my homework. I've just gotten to the point of not caring too much anymore. Sigh.

I didn't really elaborate on my routine so here I go:
5:10 - Wake up, but hit snooze button
5:20 - Actually wake up
6:00 - Leave for the bus
6:45 - Get to school
7:20-2:15 - School
3:00 - Get home
3:00-4:30 - TV, procrastination, whatever
4:30ish - Dinner (yeah I know we eat really early)
5:30-8:00 - Procrastination, Facebook, avoid homework
8:00-10:00 - Homework
10:00-10:30 - Shower
11:00 - Bed
If I drive to school then I sleep until 5:30 and leave the house at 6:30ish, but still get to school around the same time. I hate being one of the first stops in the morning.
I don't really take naps.

We all really procrastinate. We don't want to think about work that we have to do ahead of us.
But I usually get up at 5:30-6:30, leave house by 6:50, bus at 7, school from 8:20-3:10.
I'll do homework on bus, if I can, or sleep on the bus. When I get home I eat dinner around 5, nap or do my homework... My homework load can be tough so about 3 hours total or more if I want to do a good job on it all.
Exams and finals, extra 5 hours but spread it out so that you don't overkill yourself. If you just skim and relearn a bit, you should get higher than a C if you know the subject well
that's just me.
But always, always do your work... It teaches you and it also keeps your grade up. Psttt.. your teacher will be HAPPY too!

On three school mornings a week I have swimming, so I'm gonna do that timetable.
5:20 - Wake up
5:40-7:30 - Swimming training
8:30-3:30 - school
4:00 - Home, have about 15mins to myself: chilling, changing into comfy clothes, boil the jug for a cup of tea, grab my afternoon snacks, checking into the internet - NO facebook though because I've deactivated it.
4:15 - Start homework
6:30 - Dinner
7:00 - Continue with homework/study
8:50 - Start preparing for bed, pack my bag for the morning if I have swimming, put my rabbit in her hutch, etc.
9:10 - Start reading my book in bed
~9:30-40 - Lights out and sleep!
And I fit about 15-20mins of piano practice in there each day as well.
Yes, you did read correctly, I go to bed at around 9:30 every night. I hope to keep on with that as long as I can, because I need my sleep! And when I get up at 5:20 it means I need to go to bed early if I want my 8-9 hours.
But I sometimes have other activities after school, like soccer, which means I get home at around 5:30.
Anyway, I get a decent amount of homework done having deactivated facebook!
