Hey, all of us have done something that we truly regret in the 2 years during the course period.
What have you done?
Let's share...

I have many many things I regret! Here is the list:

Well at least for me, I knew that I was gonna regret in the future but I just wasted time anyway.........
I sometimes wonder how amazing I could have been if I just followed my plans.
- I didn't know anything about IB in IB1
- Thus I didn't plan/prepare for all the IAs and stuff
- I slacked off in my language B (ab initio) class
- My speaking never improved and it showed in my oral
- I didn't plan my EE well
- I ended up stressing massively
- I didn't plan my CAS
- I had to fill out all the evidences in one night - yuck
- I overlooked on TOK
- I thought everybody get As in TOK! Silly me.
- I read comic books the night before my IOC
- Hence I cried after my IOC
- I woke up late most of the days and always missed out on like 2 of my classes
- The teachers now kinda hate me and they will not write good recommendation letters for me
- I never read the A1 books twice
- Maybe it would have helped if I re-read them a couple more time
Well at least for me, I knew that I was gonna regret in the future but I just wasted time anyway.........
I sometimes wonder how amazing I could have been if I just followed my plans.

-Not working hard during IB1 and losing out on doing extremely well.
-Not using my holidays wisely to catch up on work, instead i watched movies...
-Sleeping during english class instead of paying attention...(not entirely my fault, my teacher is boring! <shes 70 something years old>)

- Not reallly 'getting' IB in IB1, and therefore not doing well.
- Procrastinating
- Not learning discipline
- Not using my holidays wisely
- One last word: Facebook :/

Ugh I really didn't care about the Group 4 Project, and it ended up being a project of 2 sheets... It was truly a mess.
(In fact, Imma starting to believe that I got a 4 on both Physics and Chemistry because of the quality of the IA ¬¬)
I really didn't read any of my literature books (except for maybe 2 or 3), and those were the ones I used for the examinations only :|
I didn't know what TOK was until the beginning of the second year of IB :/ (half the blame is for the teacher) ¬¬
I did my EE about Biochemistry... Without knowing anything about it

I got a new phone 2 weeks before my Math SL exams...and I was too busy playing with it to properly study for my math exams.
Honestly, another big regret is not studying majorly for ANY of my exams, which I regret.
I regret not doing any math homework for the last 3 years...
I also regret not doing more stuff for CAS.
I regret not bothering to review any of my chemistry, and have now forgetten it all.
And lastly, I regret not paying enough attention in class.

Still working in the morning and not having enough time to do both math portfolios
Compromising myself to dance and actually humiliate myself in front of my previous cohort and their family for CAS
Failing to study well in physics
Being really really stupid is physics
Degrading math marks since grade 10
Failing a bunch of calculus tests
Not understanding the mechanisms for organic chemistry until the exam
Not doing any french homework

I slacked off during HL math classes for the whole of IB1
IB2 just started and so did my endless hours of going through my math book on free time.
And once I didn't check my physics IA before turning it in and afterwards realised that in one paragraph I keep calling an apparatus something that I didn't even use during the whole experiment.
And doing G4 project with people who hated me and therefore downgraded me because of their own personal issues. And that sounds a lot like I did bad and just can't admit it to myself but honestly, I didn't, more like they didn't even respond to my emails regarding the project and then blamed me for not being willing to cooperate.

What if those did not take place? Do you see yourself at any position than this?
Congratulations to those who dares to face yourself and the flaws you faced.

I knew all about IB1 and how to work it. So much that I manipulated it to my slacker advantage. Sleeping during class, knowing which homework to not do and never do, and never studying. EVER.
I passed my calculus class with a B, but failed the AP exam.
My second maths IA was three pages, half of which was graphs; all we had to do was turn it in for credit, as it wasn't going to be graded until this year.
Leaving my EE draft up to the last minute and even then completely lying throughout and showing no knowledge of understanding. I turned it in yesterday just to get the credit of turning it in.
It's rare that I finish a book for A1.
I'm always supposed to be doing something else. For example, like working on TOK now.

I didn't read one of the texts for my IOC.Then I failed. It was horrible.still haunts me.
I spent a whole semester practically CAS-less.
Not revising properly for my math mock exam.
Leaving my CAS project to the 5th term.Bad bad idea.
That's all I can think of right now

I regret not doing my best in IB1, procrastinating and pulling all-nighters to finish my World Lit and TOK Essay, and going out with friends when I should have been studying for Math. I got the worst grades possible and made an awful impression on my teachers, and now that IB2 has started it's going to be harder for me to do well in school. Oh well. You live, you learn, right?

Sleeping at 3-4 am and wake up very late to school.
The good thing is that I live in a dorm inside the school campus. But I still missed a lot of English classes and didn't know what the stories were about and went inside the exam hall and When I saw the exam I was like I am not doing A1 HL paper
I was scr**ed up badly and got an overall grade 4
... Thanks to my Essays in the classes that I didn't miss and Orals that pushed my grade up
Also sitting next to a very annoying person in physics. A Very Very annoying person

IB1
IB2
- Thinking TOK was a waste of my time, thus doing my TOK Internal Assessment the day before it was due
- Thinking Math SL was a joke, thus leading to my C first semester
- Slacking off the last week of school, destroying my English grade
- Pretending I was good at spanish, eventually leading to my terrible IB Oral
IB2
- Not working on my EE all summer, and now forced to complete it in 3 months.
- Taking IBHL Biology in the first place with a brand new teacher

I've only been an IB student for 8 school day & already I'm on this forum and on facebook simultaneously. I should be studying German, watching an English documentary & finishing my physics lab report. So I'm definitely regretting procrastinating (yet I'm doing nothing to prevent it!!)
More experienced IB students, any advice on how to escape procrastination as much as possible would be greatly appreciated!!
