when I use Latex, if I press enter, it becomes a br tag. I know I can use

[tex]\\[/tex]

but it doesn't look as nice and it'll be difficult if I want to use a lot of Latex codes.

I hope there's something that can be done to stop the line break from becoming br tags in latex. thanks!

@Graeme, if you want to shoot me the relevant PHP files for the LaTeX addon, I'll try fixing this issue, shouldn't be very hard at all.

timtamboy, I wonder why the \ doesn't work on latex anymore now. pretty sure it works fine before I complained about the br tag and it does work on TSR and it's on the Latex how to thread here too, so there shouldn't be any problem on the code, but \ commands don't work anymore now. can you help and fix it please?

IT WORKS! After about 3 hours, I think I've finally fixed it! My eyes are about to revolt (damn regular expressions), but it works!

Desy, try using [tex] instead of [latex] for now, for some reason [latex] is screwing up
