So, anyone else out there that read One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest in English A2 (or A1 for that matter)?
What did you think of it?
I liked it, atleast the parts when Chief Bromden wasn't hallucinating (in the fog), I found that confusing and rather dull... The Christ-like figgures in the book were interesting though (jesus and his 12 followers etc.).
Cheers :flirt:

not much to say as I read this for leisure rather than IB english but put simply: it was a great book. may I add that the film (the one with Jack Nicholson) is also fantastic, so definitely try to see that!

Same here, I read it for leisure. If I had read it for IB, I most likely would have hated it :P. Great book though :)

We watched the movie in English class for leisure, the ending was indeed quite a shock. It lead me on to read the actual book and I agree, it's a great book but I would not want to analyse it. Some things are better left to appreciate in our own way. :)
