How do you learn/improve on your French vocabulary? I'm in French SL, and I want to widen my vocabulary and understanding of the French language to get a 7
Anyone know of any websites/apps that have really helped you?
I use anki (http://ankisrs.net/) to make flashcards from Mastering French Vocabulary (http://www.amazon.ca...23395213&sr=8-1). Sometimes I read articles on lemonde to see which words appear a lot and put them in anki. Qasana.com is also pretty useful, if you haven't already used it.
My teacher send me a couple of websites to practice for paper 1 & 2, two weeks before the IB exams and it worked fine. I'm also aiming for that 7
Here there are, just like my teacher told me to do them :
Read books, especially ones written for younger children that will be of interest to you. Look up the words you don't know and make flashcards out of them: study these in your free time (ha. ha.)
Also, it may sound pointless but throwing in some dirty/slang words can make you want to study more. Its what I do and it helps a lot
