I don't know if you know site called http://www.9gag.com , but it is very popular in my school. It is a humorous site with tons of funny pictures and videos., almost every IB'eer is a 9gagger and only rarely are people from national curriculum found to be 9gaggers. I was just wondering, is it the same with IB in other countries or is it just our school? Are most of IB students 9gaggers only in my country or in the whole world?
P.S.
WARNING: If you go to that site, be aware that is is EXTREMELY addictive.

hey well, a few of my friends are 9gaggers but i haven't checked out that site. They post a lot of that stuff on fb and laugh about it. Is it that good? lol The only 9gaggers i've seen are the international ones, i haven't seen any national ones looking at those stuff. So yes, also in our country can you find 9gaggers

Great, Fani. Is it more popular in IB compared to rest of the people or not?

Oh I wanted to write it's NOT well-know in my school, anyway.
Uhm, difficult to say, maybe. Because of the language I mean, although not an intermediate level of enlish is needed to get the joke.

I can see that from your picture ;D however, do you, my dear 9gaggers, feel that 9gag influences your grades in a negative way?

Well for me personally, it doesn't affect my grades in a negative fashion cause video games take that position. For my classmates on the other hand... I sometimes notice them browsing 9gag during class (we're required to bring laptops to school). It's too addicting haha

I visit 9gag everyday haha ... but I'm doing fine at school. I'd like to say that that it doesn't affect people's grades at all, but of course, you shouldn't let yourself be too occupied by something like 9gag.

Far too much 9gag in the IB here. My class has a FB-page which is used for some school-related questions but a lot for posting from 9gag.

the only reason why i'm still sane is 9gag. get home, don't know what to do? 9gag. bored? 9gag. can't think of anything? 9gag. cramming world lit. paper? 9gag.
btw, it made me conscious of my spelling and grammar. can't afford to screw up or 9gag army attacks =)

It's pretty damn popular here in Egypt but Tumblr is beginning to appease people's interests a lot more.

It isn't very popular in Egypt, but there is a Facebook page named "Egypt's Sarcasm Society," its very similar to 9gag, at times a post is posted every 3 seconds! Its CRAZY!

I prefer funnyjunk.com, but I know a few people that use 9gag at my school.

It's more popular in IB than in other national schools, I would say. I love 9gag - my classmates are always on it during class (we are given out laptops in the beginning of our year, as basically every subject (except for Math and a few others) and its information are on a website our school has created), but I wouldn't say it affects our study negatively. Of course, you lose a bit of concentration and it's a bigger addiction than Facebook, but we are just too damn inlove with it.

Hello, fellow 9gaggers C:
I love this website, it's extremely addicting. I used to just check the trending page, but now I even go into the vote page. Don't get in or it will get your soul!

I love 9gag. Everyone in my school loves it as well but there are those few who don't want to succumb to it's grasp. It takes your soul if you do log on though. I have it bookmarked everywhere and i constantly try to get on it at school.

9gag is great
But most of my friends outside IB knows it... however I don't know how it is with the other programmes at my school... It's a quite big one.
