Hi,

I'm a junior in an IB Math SL class and we are in the midst of our IA Project. I'm on the Mathematical Processes part and I thought I had everything under control but then I realized I can't use one of the processes I had hoped to.

My topic is: Is there a relationship between gender and the type of pizza a person eats?

I know it seems silly but my dad owns a pizzeria so it was something I would be able to do.

I did the Chi-square hypothesis test and that worked out fine and I planned on doing linear regression with a line of best fit but I realized that since gender isn't a numerical value it wouldn't really work.

Please help me with either thinking of a new process I can use that would be sophisticated enough or maybe explain if and how the linear regression would work!

Thank you!!
