Hey there :),
I am an English (HL) student, I have written down both my world lits and
the second is a creative type essay. Is it acceptable to write a poem
(based on a protagonists Point of view) and analyze it?
Looking for a prompt reply :D
Thanks.

Seeing as no one has responded to you...
By all means go ahead, however it better be one hell of a good poem and analysis.
It would be best to check in with your English teacher to make sure it is a legitimate option.

" I used alliteration here because I thought it would effectively create a rhythm and quite frankly I'm the greatest poet ever :proud:"

Anyway, I think you can do a creative writing piece

Yes you could write a poem, but make sure that it's not only a creative thing; you also have to incorporate content from the novel in your poem. The IB rubric is more concerned with content of the novels (it is a literature course after all...) That's what makes creative pieces harder to score well in than comparative essays.

Not trying to discourage you, just giving you a heads-up.
