Hey everyone!

I'm am beginning to find a passage for my World Lit 2 in English A1 HL and I have to choose a passage from the book Paradise of the Blind.
When I read Paradise of the Blind, I did not enjoy it at all and found it difficult and boring to read. I am struggling to choose a relevant passage to write my WL2 on.

Do you have any suggestions for a possible passage or a certain part of the book that would be good to write on?

I am going to continue searching for passages and I will update this thread when I find possible passages.

Thanks in advance,

Jackson M.

I haven't read the book, but when finding a passage, the best are usually found in major points of the story, whether they be about character development, plot development, a scene where a huge symbol is established, etc. So for looking for a passage, instead of just flicking through the book, jot down on paper what you thought what some of these major points were and then find them in the novel and see if they are suitable. It might narrow your search right down.

I'm looking into discussing the role of food in Paradise of the Blind in reference to the passage on page 207-208.
The passage begins with "No one. You have to learn..." on Page 207 and end with "I don't waste time philosophizing" on page 208.
I have attached a copy of the pages, with the passage that I am referring to, below.

What are your thoughts on this passage in reference to the role of food within Paradise of the Blind?
