What does the IB exactly mean when they say "scope"? My teacher said I had to include more "scope" :/

Scope just refers to what you will be investigating in your IA, such as your time frame and/or the certain aspects of an event. For example, if you did an IA on Stalin's first Five Year Plan, your scope could be the years of the plan and the economic/political reasons for it.

Also, one more thing I'd like to add to what emyski said. It might be worth mentioning what you're not going to be looking at through the course of your internal assessment. Just so that you're clear, and that when the examiner reads it, he/she is clear as well.

It basically means that you should investigate and include a wider range of events or a bigger time frame.

ahh thank you to all comments. i might have phrased it wrong. he didn't want me to include "more scope", just more about the scope of my IA in section A
the actual content of the IA was right.
