I just finished writing my world lit paper 1. Here was my topic:
How different forms of isolation (emotional and physical) contribute to depression for the main characters of "From Sleep Unbound" and "So Long a Letter." The two main characters were Samya in From Sleep Unbound and Ramatoulaye in So Long a Letter.
Is this a good topic? I have lots of supporting quotes, and I used tone, imagery and diction to support my answer. My only problem is that the paper is short (only 1,200 words) and I've heard that this means the paper isn't fully developed. Also, I only compared in my paper. I didn't constrast. Am I supposed to compare and contrast?
Thanks in advance. I need help fixing this before moving on to WL2.
