make up a simple plan for your counsellor. surely she will be as surprised as us to see your first schedule, so just make a simple, normal plan. tell her you might change your mind on the subjects selection but you are serious enough to go though the IB programme.
good luck!

Wow I just read your initial post and it just stressed me out! I'm glad you've decided to drop a bunch of AP classes because doing both IB and AP will really take a toll on you, don't stress yourself out so much. This is coming from someone who hasn't officially started IB and is constantly stressed about more stuff I should do, these are supposed to be the best years of our lives, so we should enjoy them, and be responsible at the same time. Moreover, you never know what you'll want to be, I was completely undecided before a few weeks ago about my future, and then I read this AMAZING book that totally made me fall in love with Geopolitics and it made me switch half of my IB classes. So I guess my advice is that you shouldn't define your future so heartily, everything can change!
And I'm glad to see someone younger than me in IBS by the way!! LOL

Wow, I felt rather scared/intimidated reading your initial post. In that I was genuinely concerned for any future damage to your mental wellbeing
As many will attest to, IB is no walk in the park... Firstly, there may be some scheduling problems with taking so many classes, but that's a more minor problem. The major problem is that you'd probably be stressing yourself. Take subjects you enjoy, or rather take the 6/7 (maybe 8) subjects that you most enjoy, and save the rest for some unplanned time in the future
I think your teacher would be impressed by your original detailed plan, but they'd probably also be worried about stress/mental breakdowns.
Good to see you dropping the somewhat random music and art courses, which you don't seem to enjoy too much. I'm a bit of a biased observer, but if you think that you somewhat enjoy and appreciate Latin, there's nothing wrong with taking it!
Good luck with whatever you do end up choosing to do!
