Hello, I am doing my internal assement only do I know realize that they are to be taken seriously, How will my final ib mark be affected if I end up dooing poorly on the IA?

Depends on the subject and if it is HL/SL.
Search the internet or ask your teacher for grade boundaries of past sessions. Although they may vary a tiny bit, they should be more or less clear to you.
And of course, take them seriously! In IB, everything you do is more or less important.

Depends on how poorly you do. Your IA is worth 20% of your grade (at least for SL it is), so it's still possible to do well despite having a low IA score. For example, you can still get a 7 in math despite receiving a score of 5 on your IA. You just have to do really well in your exams (ie get 7's on both papers). However, it would be pretty hard to get a 7 if you got a 4 or lower on your IA.
Same goes if you get a 4 on your IA. It's quite possible to get a 6, but if you get a 3 your chances of getting a 6 overall are much lower. Check out the grade boundaries under the General IB downloads section and you can see how many points you need to get a 7, 6, etc.
