Current mood: Worried
Hello, fellow IB'ers!

As the title says, I'm starting my mock exams very soon and that itself made last week really unbearable.

You might think that I'm currently wasting my time on this thread but if you consider that I have been revising long enough you might cut me some slack and say: "Hey, maybe he actually needs some form of human contact"

Anyway, I came here to ask about your experiences with mock exams and what you'd recommend me to do. They (the school's management) managed to cram all of my tests in 17 days so it's going to be a whole new level of stress.

Is it really worth it to go all out on mocks or should I relax a little given how insignificant they are in the final grade? :/

this is bare /\ for you innit ;)

You probably didn't understand what I just said but i'm going to continue anyway.

Yes you should relax a little bit because going into an exam stressed will make your grade worse. So chill a little bit, do some light revision of course but if you get to the stage where you want to rip your hair out, stop.

Please give me 5 reasons as to how being 'REALLY worried' will ever help him? Being worried about something doesn't bring out the best results. Yes a pressure can be a good thing but if it gets to the stage where it's making him less efficient or he's starting to lose sleep then it's quite counter productive.

True story.
