So i was checking a website that oursources your essays, and it seems legit.
They ask you for how many words, works cited, what format and so on.
An extended essay of 4,000 words done in the maximum amount of time (the more time the cheaper) of 5 days costs about $215.
I would be willing to pay that much for my EE but has anyone done it and do you think it would be good?
Thanks.

If you do this and they find out, you won't get your diploma. It's very dishonest to do this.

Well, given that this is cheating, nobody's really going to say yes?
If you're found to have had somebody else write your EE you lose the Diploma automatically. Your EE supervisor is 99% likely to realise that there's no way you've written it and as they have to certify that they believe you to be the author, this may hinder your attempts to pass it off as your own, even if you don't have any pressing moral issues with it. Which I expect most people would. "Outsourcing" is certainly the strangest way I've ever heard anybody phrase cheating.
Just write your own EE. And get a move on if you're a May 2012 candidate as you say.

It's not worth it. Like others said, if you get caught, not only do you not get your diploma, but it really hurts your reputation...
Even if you do get your diploma... well, you didn't really earn it...

Are you really that lazy as to actually pay a complete stranger to write your EE for you? Either your supervisor's going to realize that it's not yours (like Sandwich said) or you'll get someone who knows nothing about IB requirements, etc. and completely screw up what you're supposed to include. They might write a very nice history or English essay, but if it doesn't follow IB's format then you lose marks! If your EE is due in a very short amount of time, which it looks like it is seeing how you specified a 5 day time frame, I suggest stop asking ridiculous questions and just sit down and do it. You're just wasting your time asking "is it OK for someone else to write my EE," time you could have been finding sources or writing up paragraphs.
Seriously.
Seriously.

Outsourcing is the new way to say cheating now a days? Well I've learnt something new.
if you get caught (which is quite easy because it'll write too well... it'll be obvious) you'll have wasted money, look like a fool and lose your diploma.
You could probably write it in less that 5 days if you tried.
Write it yourself and save yourself the potential embarrassment

you are an IB student. you are a human being. you have a brain. why can't you use it wisely?
do you really want to pass IB with somebody else's EE? do you really want to graduate with the feeling that you didn't do your EE by yourself? even if you got a good grade, would you be happy remembering it's not your own work? do you think the experience and skills required in writing an EE is worthwhile? don't you want to produce your own research paper?
at least when you do your Master's, you'll remember how challenging it was to write your EE. the experience and skills are worth it. there's no point in getting a diploma if you can't even write your own EE. people will definitely judge you.
but it's your decision. if you think this is the best way, then go ahead. remember, people will judge you. and there's a chance that your teacher's suspicious, especially if you can't answer the questions during your viva voce. you might lose your diploma in the end.
anyway, will they be able to write you good quality essay? you should try and find out if they have examples, and what grade have their previous essays obtained.
good luck!

Is this really where the new generation is coming to?
This is not the first person to suggest this, sadly.
Academic Honesty, does that not mean anything to you?
Moreover, the fact that you've practically experienced almost two years of IB, and not started your EE. Hasen't deadlines taught you anything? This is your Diploma we're talking about here, your last chance in school to prove yourself.
I acknowledge the fact that i'm being very critical, but c'mon. Let's be realistic here.
In terms of time contraints, you probably don't have much time left on your hands. But use the most of it! Let people 'help' you out. NOT in anway write the entire essay for you.
Having said that, you could basically let someone do the rest of your exams for you
Would that in anyway test your progress over the two years? Oh well.
I wish you all the very best.
Don't fall into that mistake.

No. Simply put.
You still have time so just start it and get done. It's possible doing it in a day if you're commited. Like everyone else has said, it's not a good idea.

If your desired outcome is the loss of your diploma, then by all means go ahead. IB takes this stuff extremely seriously to the point where they will even penalize your school for sending in a plagiarized paper.

I can't believe this guy actually asked this as a genuine question...
