Hey! I'm just starting to gather research on potential IA topics— Nazi propaganda in particular. The thing is, I'm having some difficulty narrowing down my topic a bit more. Could anyone help with some suggestions? And is it worth the endless searching of topics when it would be much easier to take more of a concrete, single, controversial event?

You should give us your topic to help you narrow it down. Otherwise we would be forming it for you - which is not permitted.

I might look at Leni Riefenstahl's Triumph of the Will and evaluate it for it's legitimacy. But sources on the Nuremberg Rallies haven't been too fruitful.
Or, since it's a bit more broad, I might talk about how it affected Hitler's rise to power.

To be honest topics on Hitler's rise to power and Nazi propaganda have been pretty much done to death.
But if you're really insistant on doing something related to it, you need to find something very specific and investigate how it affected Hitler's rise to power or the propagation of Nazi ideology or whatever you're looking at. You only have 2000 words, which is absolutely nothing. And if you're having trouble finding sources on one topic, it might not be wise to pursue that route as you won't have a lot of sources to use for your IA.
Like the above poster said we cannot give you topics. But once you have come up with some we'd be glad to give you feedback

find an aspect of Nazi propaganda that interests you, for example propaganda about education, or about jews.
your topic could be something like: the role of antisemitist nazi propaganda in Hitler's Germany
ask your teacher for advise
