Hi there!

I tried reading some posts about this IA but it was no help. I have a particular problem with this IA, because I'm given the years and the heights reached by the medallists, and I used the years as "X" and the heights as "Y" but I get a reaally weird graph.

If anybody could help me with the following, I'd appreciate it:

1.- Is there something wrong with my graph? Because honestly, the "function" I got is kinda funny.
2.- What do they mean by "parameters"???? My teacher said she'd explain what "parameters" means but so far, she hasn't said anything at all.
