HI, I just needed some help on motifs in The Great Gatsby. I was assigned to find the importance of the motif Flowers and Birds, but I can't seem to find much correlation except for that Jay Gatsby and Daisy are both a bird and a flower. Any help?

He uses flowers to enhance their qualities. Like Daisy gives off the idea of purity and delicateness and stuff.
