GOGOGOHAHAHA
I am in the last year of MYP ,and about to enter DP. In my humanity essays, my 'analytical skill' is always not very good(6 out of 10,usually) How am I suppose to boost it? Reply
Sandwich
Analytical skills are generally part of somebody's overall intelligence/faculties - people who think "How? What? Why? Consequences?" have analytical skills. Essentially it's just thinking something through thoroughly. I'm not sure whether you can teach analytical skills as such if they don't come naturally, but perhaps just challenging yourself as you write things. What are the further implications of what you're writing? How do they tie in with everything else?As I said, many people think things through very naturally, but perhaps if you don't then try to sit and ask yourself specific questions and think about issues for a little bit longer. Ask yourself some how? why? consequences? does this link in with anything else? contradict or modify any information? are there any assumptions in it? does it make sense? type stuff and see if it helps. You might start spotting more things and give a better analysis. 3 Reply
