Exams: May 2013

i am planning to do my ee in chemistry. i have chosen bio diesel as my topic. i have considered two fuels and i am trying to find the best amongst the two by determining their calorific value. and the problem is that i need some more factors which make better fuel..... any help ???.... also some diff. way to find the calorific value than bomb calorimitry.
