Is this a good article for Eco IA?

I'm focused in the Trade section, and for this article(If appropriate), I will be writing about the balance of payments, about NZ going from trade surplus to deficit, and exchange rates etc. I think the diagram would probably be the J-curve?
Not quite sure what I can evaluate on those, can anyone please give me a helping hand? Thankyou in advance!

I'm feeling like there's a little too much evaluation in the article itself - it might be so much the IBO won't accept it as an article. You would be better off to avoid this one. There are a ton more out there, though!

Technically, you can write about anything in the world for econ. It's one of the reasons it's a very easy subject - everything can be applied to it. I wrote my Micro commentary on listeria in cantaloupes and my Macro on bad roads in India. My teacher still laughs at how arbitrary my choices are, but I still got some of the highest marks in my cohort.

And, off topic; you're from Australia! O: That's so cool!
