sil_9
The knowledge issue is "To what extent does appearance affect ethics?"Areas if knowledge: ethics, human sciences (sociology) Ways of knowing: emotion, reasoning, sense perception Reply
ChocolateDrop
Instead of appearance I would use one of the ways of knowing, such as perception. in the question and go from there. Appearance - relates to sight which is just one sense. So with perception you could broaden this and branch out as opposed to just focusing on sight. In your exploration of the question you could include sight. Also with perception it might be easier to include more areas of knowledge such as the sciences, social sciences such as economics, psychology etc. Also it's been advised to stay away from the general term 'ethics'. I would choose something specific like capital punishment or something sort of everyday as opposed to ethics.http://crosslandibtok.wikispaces.com/Ways+of+KnowingThis thread may help: http://www.ibsurvival.com/topic/17514-is-this-a-good-tok-presentation-title-how-do-i-pick-my-presentation-title/ 1 Reply
