economics HL exam help! :/

To those who are HL Econ students writing their exams next week!

What is the best way to tackle paper 1? like do we have to learn case studies for every single concept from Micro/Macroeconomics?

Make sure you know all the definitions and diagrams. Make sure you can describe the diagrams and changes that can occur. Have a few examples in hand too.

okaay (: and how much time do you guys think must be spent on each essay? (paper 1)

It's a 90 minute exam, so spend 45 minutes on each question.

I would say 15 minutes on a, and 25 minutes on b. That would leave you with 5 minutes to check each question at the end.

yep.... For part a you ideally shouldn't have to think. It should be almost like a reflex action (definition, 3 points, graphs, explanations, examples, DONE). Hopefully you can finish doing it in 10 - 15 mins, leaving you time to think properly for part b, and for any bits that you're unsure of. Also, if your handwriting is absolutely ****, leave 5 mins at the end to read through, and fix any words that are too unreadable.
