I dont really remember paper 1. But the paper 2 was HAAAAAAAARRRRDDDD. Not because the article was long, but because it included all the information we needed (adv and disadv, processes etc) and it was hard to come up with something outside the article

I think Paper 1 was absolutely fine. I did numbers 1,2 and 4, where nr 2 was Telemedicine, nr 4 was E-Waste and the first question I can't really remember. Skipped question 3 because I couldn't come up with what is meant by generic software whereas question 5 was just wtf! Proprietary is ofc closed source software, but what is generic software? That term doesn't even come up in the ITGS guide! What are we supposed to do with that! Apparently it is fancy IT-jargon meaning open source software according to Google.

I am only concerned about the E-Waste 8-mark question, how are we supposed to include much IT terminology in that? I mentioned financial incentives for businesses and individuals to dump their garbage appropriately and sanctions and bad publicity on those who engaged in unethical dumping (limitations being financial viability of these projects) and perhaps governments working with international NGOs (Basel Action Network), but what is there to be said with IT terminology? The question was odd.

Paper 2 article was really loooooooong... longer than any Paper 2 Article there was before, and why did we have FOUR IT systems this year! Took me at least 10 minutes to get through all the stuff.

I personally didnt find that there is too much anticipated in the article in terms of advantages and disadvantages, but still I had a hard time writing the steps down for Criterion C, because there is so much to write about when they are using Dropbox AND Google Docs AND Desktop Systems and the fourth thing I can't really remember simultaneously.

What were your proposed solutions in Section D? I wrote that one solution to the potential issue of piracy due to students potentially exchanging unauthorised material could be resolved by giving the manager administrative rights to keep track of file changes (perhaps log files?). Files with high file size, odd file types (split .rar files for instance) and with inappropriate file names (Porn, GTA IV, whatever), mp3 files which are obviously copyrighted (Poker Face - Lady Gaga) could be directly seen and students could be informed to take it down. With limitations being that password-protected encrypted .rar files for instance could not be tracked in this way, but these file types could be forbidden altogether, solving this issue.

Altogether I feel ITGS went well this year!
