Daisies in the Meadow
Hey guys, I'm going to be doing my SL Anticipated Business Exams in the following week and want to know by how much do the grade boundaries vary for each exam session? And what influences the varying boundaries?I'm really freaked out as the boundary for a 7 in May 2013 was 74% but my teacher says they are likely to raise it for november 2013?Thanks Reply
Gaby
They're influenced by how students do on a given paper in a given session. If they do badly, the boundaries will drop, if they do excellent, the boundary will by raised. E.g. to get a 7 in History HL you need something around 63-64%, I don't remember, but the boundary for English B HL was around 90%, just because it's such an easy exam, and History is really hard. 1 Reply
