Chris To
The IB Guide for the ITGS IA states "It should be noted that products created using templates that show no evidence of modification in their structure, design or functionality are not permitted." and "the development of a website (product) using a web-based template that completely determines its structure and layout."Are students allowed to use tutorials such as http://tympanus.net/codrops/2012/06/12/css-only-responsive-layout-with-smooth-transitions/ in their ITGS webpage? Does this mean I cannot use any of the exemplars in the website above? Reply
AMSM
Well if you need a high mark in your IA never ever use or copy a template, be ORIGINAL! For the tutorials above you can always use them as a reference and help ONLY, copying the same theme and or layout will get you in trouble (low marks) ofc you can use the techniques used to create your own work. Hope things go well Reply
