Echowave
Hi, I might be repeating Year 12 for IB (First year) again due to the problems that I have which possibly won't get me into the final year because of the subject choices that I currently have, which are NOT suitable for me at ALL. So I'd like to do some future research just in case this happens, I'm quite interested into taking Film at HL for the arts and I'd like to ask those some questions regarding this subject. Some questions I'd like to ask Film HL students: - What is the hardest part about this course in particular - What particular knowledge is required for this subject specifically? - How much coursework is there? - Are there any exams for this subject? How do you score high in this subject? Any relevant information to the reply of this post would further help me Thanks! Reply
Rhea Ram
Hey.So basically Film HL doesn't have any exams. Instead we only do projects. There all in all 4 projects for SL and 5 for HLFor HL, the IA is making a short film and a trailer on that film with a production portfolioThere is also the oral presentation and the Independent study that are ExternalYou can get a 7 provided all your work is excellentAnd the course starts from the basics as per my experienceThe hardest part is getting all the work done quickly because the film shoot takes up most of the time 2 Reply
