IA Math Studies IA Help!

Hi guys!

Just, I'm really stuck with starting an IA (and it's due this week, good job me) because I have no clue as to what can actually be considered an IA. Not only that, but I don't know how to use Microsoft Excel because we weren't really taught how.

I was considering doing my IA on these two topics, so if you all could help me, it would be really awesome, because I really need it. Btw, I'm not 100% sure if these can even be usable for an IA, so if they can't, could you suggest a particular topic I could use that's not too difficult?

It was a toss up between descriptive statistics and correlation between gender and anger management.

Descriptive statistics, I don't even know HOW it would be considered an IA, but at least it's fairly straightforward and simple to do.

Correlation, it's not very difficult but I don't know how to graph anything and solve for anything.

Help, please, I'm quite desperate. :/

For math studies if I'm not mistaken the IA is typically a statistics project where you will pick two variables that you think are related in some way (for example, a student's favorite genre of music and their grade in math class) and do some statistical analysis on it. As for using Excel, I would try to find some sort of help guide or tutorial on the Internet that can teach you how to make a graph or do calculations very quickly, or ask a teacher/friend at school who could help you out.

On a further note... How will you even measure anger management? And even more important: If you tell people you are measuring their anger management, some will just try to manage it better. You need to make sure that your data is as unbiased as you possibly can make it.
