(yay!)From what I've gathered, you're supposed to analyze an extract from a poem (if it's a long one) or a short poem (~20-30 lines I think is the recommended). Guest Marioti Posted April 18, 2014 Report Share Posted April 18, 2014 If you're in HL the IOC takes 20 min in total The first 10 min is a commentary that's supposed to be on a poem that you have already seen... you just don't know exactly what poem you're getting The second part is a discussion between you and the teacher about a novel or a play (idk depends on what you studied) e.g mine was Pride and Prejudice - this also takes 10 min hope this helped clear it up a bit Reply Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
