teegee
Well, what you can do is look at different interpretations of the piece on the web, and then apply them with different examples etc.I'm sure you can use them to base some ideas, but try to not simply memorize what the website said. Memorize key points and make it your own, then you're good to go! 1 Reply
citizenoftheuniverse
Honestly, with an IOC it is basically impossible to plagiarize, since you will put what you read online into your own words anyway, you won't memorize it word for word. And even if you did memorize it well enough for it to be word for word, since it is oral, they would have to go through a lot of effort to catch you plagiarizing. Honestly I don't think you can really plagiarize on the IOC. 1 Reply
Thrashmaster
Well, they are almost certainly not going to catch you if you were to 'plagiarize,' but it is obviously bad to get into the habit of depending on other sources. I'd suggest looking at it, and trying to take on your own twist. Either make your own examples of their theme, or take their examples and analyze a different theme or technique.
