Ivan Prijono Posted April 21, 2014 Report Share Posted April 21, 2014 Hey guys, I'm a first year IB student, and so far everything has been going smoothly except for one thing. I have a really hard time choosing my EE topic. I already decided that doing my EE on visual arts would be a good idea since I am generally interested in art history, however, it's already April and I have yet to nail a solid topic. I really want to get this done during the summer so I don't have to worry stress about it beginning of next year My idea right now is: "How and why has public perception of what is considered fine art changed during the 20th century." Garrett !? Posted April 21, 2014 Report Share Posted April 21, 2014 I don't think this is any acceptable topic as 20th century is very broad and you need a piece to narrow down your research on. There needs to be a focus on an art period and or a work of art. So for that reason you could narrow it down to something along the lines of:"To what extent do the sculptures of Eva Hesse represent the transformation from minimalism to post-minimalism?"
