insomniac writer
For my Math IA, I'm investigating the correlation between homework and sleep in IB and non-IB students. So far, I've calculated the mean, median, mode and range of my data and also made a line graph showing the correlation between these two topics in the two educational programs, however I can't come up with anything else that I could include.Do you have any ideas? Or is this enough? Thank you for your help and suggestions. Edited April 21, 2014 by insomniac writer Reply
Koreahj
I'm quite sure you did it, but did you include analysis and conclusion? IA just can't be data tables and graphs.. Reply
Thrashmaster
Have you done a unit on statistics? There are lots of things you could do if you're studying correlation. Try a z-score, or the standard deviation. The measures of central tendency you did are pretty common. You'll probably want to do more (clearly you know that since you're asking!). I am currently stuck on the unit of statistics since I'm searching more methods of displaying the correlation. I'll try the two methods you have mentioned. Thank you.
