Filipa Reis
Hey guys! I'm starting my first economics commentary. I'm having a lot of difficulty finding a GOOD econ article to use specially since everyone already chose a topic which can't be repeated so smoking tax increases can't be done. I'm more inclined towards market failure but am opened to any suggestions! I've been having some personal problems and I kinda let this one slip and I'm running short on time.. Please guys, I'm kinda desperate over here I appreciate/ am grateful for any tips/comments/help etc given! Reply
Angelica
The most difficult part is choosing your article, a good grade can depend on that. Choose an article in which you can apply theory that is easy for you and you understand well enough, also microeconomics is wide with possibilities, such as supply and demand, taxes and subsidies... Define all the terms you use, make sure your graphs are well labeled and have the correct data and make a complete analysis of it without leaving any important stuff out, compare the situation you are presenting with another similar to it and evaluate the issue of the article if there is, suggest solutions for example. You only have 750 words, so concentrate in the most important facts and analysis, make sure you explain the article and economic theory that is involved. I´m not good at this, I´m really not... but I hope it helps! 1 Reply
