WW2, rearmament

Well I didn't take this topic from when I sat my exams, but.. I think both you statements aren't really true. WW2 really 'started' during the German invasion of Poland. Both rearmament and the revision of the TOV were leadups to the invasion, in fact both were tolerated under the appeasement policies seen by the soon to be allies so I wouldn't say it contributed at all to world war two.

It started during invasion, the allies tolerated rearmament and revision to treaties of Versailles (which I by that I think you are referring to breaches, in this case rearmament)
