LivingLegend
Hey y"all! I'm starting IB Euro SL this year and I wanted to know what materials I will need for this course. I looked around on my school's page, but there is no info. I'm really trying to be organized this year, so all replies are appreciated. Also, any advice going in? Thanks. Emmi
Just get a good notebook and a pen or pencil. Your teacher will provide any of the textbooks or packets you'll need, depending on which options you'll be doing and what topics you'll study. As for advice, just keep up with the readings you'll be assigned and learn how to write a proper essay. Make a historiography chart (historians and their opinions) for each topic you cover. And do well on your IA, it can save your butt. 1 Reply
LivingLegend
Great! Also, if we dont have note outlines (had them in APUSH ), do you recommend cornell style notetaking or some other kind? Again, thanks for the advice Reply
Emmi
Do whatever helps you learn that material, whether that's Cornell-style or something else that works. I rarely took notes in class, but that was because we were working on activities and I just wrote on the handouts we were given, and when it came down to the end of the section we did a lotus diagram.
