Mathematics in My School

I wanna share about mathematics in my school. I really hate to say this but.. I'm the first batch that is doing IB in my school.

The worst thing is that... The school didn't tell us that we all are in Math Studies SL!

Oh for your information, they asked us to choose; Math SL or Math Studies SL. Lucky for my friend who is gonna take Math HL, he's going to do it online. But the stupid thing is the only person who wants to take Math Studies SL is my bestfriend and the others (including me) wanna take Math SL.

My IB coordinator is useless. I was really mad at him, he didn't help at all. Plus, our math studies SL teacher can't even teach! Before IB starts, our favorite teacher is actually gonna teach us Math SL. But I don't know what's with my principal's head (stupid or dumb, whatever. I'm just pissed off). Our math studies SL teacher taught things that is easy but he made it really complicated.

It's better if our favorite teacher teaches us Math SL, eventhough it is harder rather than our math studies SL teacher teaches us Math SL (we all gonna die, for sure). I dunno but I found Math Studies really hard (maybe because of the teacher :P), but when I look at the book.. Overall is like.... -__- it's not complicated as what we think.

Any suggestions? What should I do? or maybe a good website or YouTube users tutorial on Math Studies SL? If we can't change our teacher, I may be self-study for Math Studies SL and if we can't change to Math SL, I expect to get 6-7 in Math Studies SL.

Thank you  :blowkiss:

P.S: our math studies teacher is... uhh... he's really excited to teach us, but we are not excited when he enter his class .__. In the end, we don't understand what is he teaching us.

Your post was kind of confusing, but what you're saying is that your school is only offering Math studies after you had already chosen math SL, right? Well, if your IB coordinator and principal aren't going to do anything (are they even offering math sl and you're not in it, or is there none at all?), then you really should talk to the teacher about making the most of the situation. Either see if you can do an independent study in Math SL or ask the teacher to be clearer with studies topics or something. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Your teacher is the only one who can make a difference now.
