ctrls
It's fine, plagiarism checkers can't access private, personal data like emails. Reply
Muskan
But Our teachers are creating all this tension in us by saying that it is accessed by Turn-IT-In... so what should i do?? Reply
Sofia.
It's usually passed through Turnitin by your teachers when they've gotten your work to check that you haven't plagiarized. However, turnitin can't access emails so you're absolutely fine sending your assignments to your teachers by mail Reply
alefal
Hey there! As Sofia has already said, turnitin would not be able to access private e-mails, and there should be no risk in play by sending your EE and IAs through e-mail to your teachers. However, if your teachers are opposed to the idea (as they seem to be), why don't just be on their good side and give them a hard copy? Good luck! 1 Reply
IBfreakingout!
Turnitin or any other plagiarism check (from what I know) will not be able to access e-mails. If you e-mail your work to yourself, or to teachers, that won't turn up in turnitin. Don't worry! My school has been using turnitin for a few years and every year all students get a diploma.... we haven't been denied a diploma for plagiarism due to plagiarism of your own self yet! 1 Reply
