Peyton McIntosh
So, it looks like my Spanish teacher has no idea what they're doing, and neither do I. For the written assignment (trabajo escrito/tarea escrita?) I just recently learned from a friend that they can only be on core topics. Could someone please tell me what the core topics are and perhaps give some acceptable examples, please? Thanks so much! Reply
Ossih
Hi there! I do French B but the assessment and stuff is the exact same. Your teacher is supposed to present you with 3 unseen sources (articles/advertisements/letters/any text type etc.) and you're supposed to write your own text which integrates the ideas of the 3 but adds creativity and originality. For example, I had an article about a bullying scandal, a school honour code and a website on the types of bullying. I wrote a guide detailing how to combat bullying. You also write a small rationale explaining your ideas and choices. If you're at HL, you do the same thing except your 'source' is one of the 2 books of literature you've read.
