Chemistry IAs do not have to be groundbreaking or revolutionary, and can be over something whose results are already known. IB just wants to see if you can write a lab report and follow experimental procedures. Go grab your textbook, find a section that you like (acids/bases, electrochemistry, organic chemistry, kinetics) and think of something you can do to test that. Keep it simple. If I was doing biology I could do "the effect of soil acidity on (insert plant species) growth" and that would be perfectly fine. Reply Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
