How much time did you spend on your EE?

Hm, not an ideal situation but probably possible  ^_^ What subject are you writing yours in? That very much depends how long you have to spend on it. I wrote my EE (or am writing, but I've already submitted the first draft) in History, which was a lot of work. Actually writing the essay didn't take long (maybe a day or so), but the research sure did!  -_- No way could I have done that in one week...

My EE rough draft is due in two days. I have 2700 words so far. Challenge accepted.

What challenge? That sounds completely doable and reasonable. Maybe if you're doing a history EE and you don't have any research done for the next 500 words, you could be in trouble, but honestly you're practically done.

As for the OP, did you do it? I think that would be a hard situation. I did an English EE. With reading time, I spent more time than a week would have allowed given all the other stuff I have to do. Without the reading, a week would be enough to do all the writing.

My topic is philosophy, so it is all deep analysis. I may add that I am the only philosophy candidate in my school's 8 year history of IB. Plus, they don't offer IB Philosophy. I am pioneering this whole paper.

By OP you mean IOP, individual oral presentation? Yes.

No, that's forum talk. It means Original Poster (OP). By the way... If your school doesn't offer IB Philosophy, why on Earth would you choose that for your EE?

My EE draft is due in a day and I have 500-900 words left to go. I didn't get the EE at first so my no plan was awful and I've basically gone in blind but it seems to be working well.

TIP: I've found I you put a sticky note or something you can't see through on top of your word count. you're not checking it constantly and can write based on time not on words and it's really rewarding when you take it off.
