Compulsory voting or not

In my opinion, compulsory voting is ok as long as the populace has easy access to voting, access to information to make an informed decision, but also the option to vote abstain if you choose not to like any of the candidates. You also have to be careful the current government in power doesn't try to leverage compulsory voting to coerce people into voting for them.
