Shawna Sojeong Kang
Hi guys i just received my november 2014 ib result and im thinking of remarking 3 subjects. so i got 6 for CHEM HL and it's 2 MARKS away from 7. i got 5 for BIO HL and it's 1 MARK away from 6. i got B for EE and it's 1 MARK away from A. Do you think i should request for remark? It will be great if you can give me some advice Thanks!! Reply
thepositiveclub
Personally, I would request for remarking; especially since you're really close to the next grade boundary. Reply
David14
Quick question, I'm in the same timezone as you and I didn't see my marks yet on ibo.candidates.org, how did you find out your marks already? Reply
Sofia.
Depends on whether you need higher grades or not. Generally, it's better to remark "subjective" subjects such as History or English than Chemistry or Maths, where there's only one answer. So if you want to remark, I'd go for EE and maybe Bio. Chem could work too, but it's a bit of a risk. Reply
silverdii
Should I remark math SL if I'm only one mark away from a 5? What about language B? I'm only 2 marks away from getting a 7, should I remark it? Reply
Award Winning Boss
Should I remark math SL if I'm only one mark away from a 5? What about language B? I'm only 2 marks away from getting a 7, should I remark it? Do you need to? If not, it doesn't matter. If yes, you have a decent chance at moving up a grade.
